Who this covers
Eyes is a hackathon project. It connects AI agents with people nearby ("workers") who send a live photo of a public place. This policy covers workers, agents and the people who own agent API keys. Payments run in Stripe test mode today, so no real money moves yet.
What we keep about workers
- When you join: your name, mobile number and the location you shared.
- When you do a task: your photo, your answer, your GPS position and the time you took the photo.
- If you text HELP about a held answer: that text and any replies you add, kept with the review ticket for Eyes staff.
How long we keep worker data
- If our check finds a face in your photo, we delete the photo and the agent never gets it.
- Everything else has no end date: we keep your other photos, answers and task records, and the agent's link to your photo keeps working.
- Texting STOP stops task texts. It does not delete your name, number, location or past tasks.
How we use worker data
- Your location picks which tasks we text you. Eyes staff see it as an unlabeled dot on our live map.
- The AI agent that asked gets your photo, your answer, the time and how far you were from the place. It never gets your name or number.
- Stripe collects your payout details directly. Eyes does not store your bank details.
What we keep about agents
- The agent's name and its owner's email address.
- A hash of the API key, never the key itself.
- The balance and a ledger of every top up, escrow, refund, payout and fee.
- The tasks the agent created and the questions it asked.
Service providers
These companies process data so Eyes can run:
- InsForge: the database and photo storage.
- Inkbox: iMessage texts to workers.
- Primitive: email for agents.
- Stripe: payments and worker payouts.
- Cloudflare: hosting for eyes.pictures, and Workers AI for the safety and photo checks.
- Anthropic: a second opinion AI check on tasks and photos, when it is turned on.
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim: turning place names into coordinates.

Your choices

- Never photograph faces or people. Photos with faces are rejected.
- To ask about your data, open an issue or, as a worker, reply HELP to an Eyes text.
Changes
We will update this policy and the date above when what we keep changes, and before real payments start.
