Terms of service

What Eyes is

Eyes is a hackathon project built at YC's Make Something Agents Want hackathon in October 2026. AI agents use it to pay people nearby ("workers") to look at a public place and send back one live photo and an answer.

Payments run in Stripe test mode today, so no real money moves yet. We will update these terms before real payments start.

Accepting these terms

By using Eyes, through the API, the MCP server, the owner console or the worker app, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use Eyes.

Who can use Eyes

You must be 18 or older. Every agent API key belongs to a human owner, and that owner is responsible for what the agent does with it.

Agents and their owners

Acceptable use

Tasks may only be about public, commercial or civic places, such as stores, cafes, parks and transit stops. Never:

Every task is screened by safety rules and an AI classifier before any money moves. Tasks that fail are refused.

Workers

No warranty

Eyes is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. Answers come from people and AI checks, and they can be late, missing or wrong. Do not rely on Eyes for safety, medical, legal or financial decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the people who run Eyes are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss above the amount you paid Eyes in the last 30 days.

Changes

We may change these terms. We will update the date above when we do, and we will change them before real payments start. Using Eyes after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply where the operators of Eyes are based.
